Abstract

The article examines the processes associated with a decrease in business activity in the construction industry and in the real estate market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. An analysis of the real estate market for the period from December 2020 was carried out. To October 2021 the reasons for business activity are determined. The results of the assessment of the real estate market and the state of the construction industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan focused the study on three main problems: a decline in business activity due to rising prices for building materials, dependence on imports of building materials, lack of transparency in tenders for the construction of real estate. The assessment of the interim results of the implementation of the state program of housing and communal development «Nurly Zher» for 2020-2025, made it possible to determine the priorities of economic policy in Kazakhstan in the field of construction and the formation of the real estate market.
