Abstract
The reaction of dichlorocarbene with 1, 2-dihydro 1, 2 λ 3-azaphosphine-boranes gave regioselective dichlorocyclopropanation and also insertion of dichlorocarbene into B-H bond. This insertion reaction is general and can be a useful synthetic method for the preparation of functionalized phosphine-boranes.
