Abstract
Purpose: British Thyroid Association guidelines recommend a diagnostic whole body iodine scan (dWBS) after I131 ablation for differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC). A prior audit (2004–2006) found that stimulated thyroglobulin (sTg) >10 mcg/l was predictive for I131 therapy (tWBS). This audit re-evaluates sTg levels at I131 ablation to select patients for I131.
