Abstract
The purpose of the work is to identify historical trends and current trends in the behavior of entrepreneurs in the market of industrial goods in the conditions of transformational processes on the example of the Russian economy. Based on the study of historical aspects and modern directions of entrepreneurship development, the article identifies institutional factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions. The role of various industries in the formation and transition to higher technological structures is investigated. The article examines the advantages of Russian metallurgical enterprises from the perspective of entrepreneurship development.
