Abstract
AbstractUtilization of metal mesh particles as a support material in biological waste treatment and fermentation technology offers special advantages over other immobilization methods. A theoretical analysis of fluidized bed bioreactors utilizing metal mesh support particles is presented and optimization of important parameters for rational design of metal mesh particles is discussed.
