Abstract
Lung cancer remains a leading cause of mortality and morbidity related to cancers. Apart from common subtypes of lung cancer like Non-small cell carcinoma (NSCLC) and Small cell lung carcinoma (SCLC), there are clinical entities that are very rare in occurrence and differ in diagnostic workup, treatment, and prognosis. The symptoms or clinical presentation of such rare tumors may be similar to the commoner varieties. However, their diagnosis is a clinical challenge in common practice. Hence, early suspicion, and prompt diagnosis by histopathological, immunohistochemical analysis, and imaging studies are of paramount importance. Here we present a trilogy of rare carcinomas of the lung.
