Abstract

Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a malignant tumor which develops in the trachea, bronchus, lung and mammary gland besides the head and neck region. ACC is secondly frequent malignant epithelial tumour of salivary glands. It is a slow-growing but aggressive tumour with a propensity for perineural invasion. In this article, we reported a rapid growing, progressive adenoid cystic carcinoma in a 61 year old female patient.
