Abstract
Rapidity distributions in hadron–nucleus interactions in nuclear emulsion for energies 22.8, 50, 400, and [Formula: see text] are presented. The dependence of rapidity distributions on incident energy and the target mass number (A) has been investigated. The results favour multiperipheral models based on Glauber–Gribov multiple scattering theory.
