Abstract

Range of movement and dispersal of Ammospermophilus leucurus , Dipodomys merriami , D. microps , Onychomys torridus , Peromyscus maniculatus , Perognathus formosus and P. longimembris were studied for over a year at the Atomic Test Site, Mercury, Nevada. Traps were operated more than 25,000 trap nights in five different plant associations. Recapture data, range of movement distances, maximum dispersal distances and range of movement patterns are given.
