Abstract

In this study, Radon in buildings was examined. Radon which is contains %50 of radiation we are exposed in daily life and in the decay chain of Uranium available in rocks and soil, is a colorless, odorless and a radioactive gas that cannot be observed by human sense. The Radon gas produced by the decay of U238 in rocks diffuses into soil and then into atmosphere or environment. When accumulates in closed localities or in unventilated places Radon concentrations may reach to critical values. When Radon absorbed in high dose it can create a lot of ricks especially lung cancer risk.
