Consultant clinical radiologists, psychiatry core trainees, and staff grade paediatricians have all been placed on the national shortage occupation list, the government’s Migration Advisory Committee has said in a review of the list.1 The shortage occupation list is an official list of occupations for which there are not enough UK workers to fill vacancies.
