Abstract
The radiative pion capture is investigated in the framework of the unified description of direct and resonance reactions. Using a 1p1h continuum shell-model version the radiative capture by 16O is analysed quantitatively. The calculated photon and neutron spectra, as well as the γ-n angular correlation functions, are compared with the experimental data and with other calculations.
