Abstract
The probability of radiative decay of a massive Dirac neutrino in a magnetized plasma is calculated. For a degenerate electron gas and a superstrong magnetic field, which are important for astrophysical applications, the probability of the process has the same order of magnitude as the rate of decay in the superstrong magnetic field without regard for the influence of the medium. It is also shown that the decay rate significantly increases compared to the free process in the degenerate electron gas.
