Abstract
Symptomatic narrowing of the tracheobronchial tree is not a common clinical problem after conventional-dose external beam radiation therapy (EBRT). However, this has been reported following brachytherapy and in a few patients following high-dose EBRT. In order to better study this issue, we herein describe a systematic in-depth quantitative analysis of RT-induced changes in both tracheal and bronchial caliber after high-dose EBRT.
