Abstract
Radial artery access is a technique proved to be safe for percutaneous cardiac interventions. It has been used with increasing frequency in the treatment of lower extremity peripheral arterial disease. However, the overall safety has not yet been well described in the vascular surgery literature. We sought to evaluate the safety of this technique compared with retrograde femoral artery access and brachial artery access in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease.
