Abstract
Introduction: Despite surgery being performed with curative intent, approximately 65% of patients with colorectal liver metastases develop recurrence within 3 years. The aim of this study was to examine the impact of positive (R1) and negative (R0) resection margin status on survival, tumour recurrence and site of recurrent disease.
