Danielle Pingue, Who were the Jacobins of Haute-Normandie? Objectives, sources, methods of a prosopographic survey. Danielle Pingue has recorded nearly 8,000 members of 358 popular societies in Haute-Normandie. Based on registers of deliberations of these societies, censuses of the communal population and tax rolls, she concludes by establishing a collective portrait.
