Abstract
Previous reports on the existence of a strangeness 2 meson with a mass of about 720 Mev were analyzed. It is concluded that evidence for the existence of such a particle is lacking and certainly not provided by anomalous K/sup +/ decays which were used to explain its existence. (C.J.G.)
