Abstract

This chapter is a study of Quasi-Topology Structure (QTS) modeling within the framework of the Logic of the Typical and Atypical (LTA). The quasi-topology structure (QTS) is a new mathematical structure. The Logic of Typical and Atypical (LTA) is a logic that accounts for a finer categorization of the objects associated with the concepts. The epistemological motivations of the notions of the Logic of Typical and Atypical (LTA) and the quasi-topology structure (QTS) are presented. It is shown how the quasi-topological structure (QTS) is realized in the extensions of the Logic of the Typical and Atypical (LTA). Several examples from linguistics and other areas of the social sciences and humanities are presented.
