Abstract
Quantum oscillations of ellipticity, rotation of the polarization plane of ultrasound initiated by the differences in magnetic field dependences in absorptions and phase velocities of circularly polarized ultrasonic waves are studied in a super pure single crystal of tungsten beyond the cyclotron absorption edge. A quantitative agreement has been obtained between the experimental data and the theory involving an interaction of ultrasound and helical wave predicted by E.A. Kaner and V.G. Skobov [Phys. Lett. 25A (1967) 105].
