Abstract
In this paper I discuss some of the most important results in the field of molecular magnets since the discovery of the resonant spin tunneling ten years ago. One of the questions discussed refers to the quantum magnetic deflagration and the possibility to get both coherent phonons and photons from the demagnetization process of these systems.
