Abstract
Abstract We review recent progress in lattice quantum gravity and random surfaces with a particular emphasis given to discussion of two dimensional gravity, dynamical triangulation, matrix models and Regge calculus. We also discuss the possibility of constructing the theory of quantum gravity as an ordinary field theory in four dimensions.
