Abstract
We have investigated on the low-temperature properties of the S= 1 2 quantum aniferromagnetic spin systems on the pyrochlore lattice. The static-spin structure factors have been calculated , using the bond-operator method, in order to clarify the physical picture of the disordered ground state of this highly frustrated system. The result shows that the wave vector dependence on [0 0 h]–[h h 0] plane of the reciprocal space obtained by Canals and Lacroix ( Phys. Rev. Lett. 80 (1998) 2933), can be qualitatively understood in terms of the valence bond solid picture.
