Abstract

The concept of analytic continuation allows for the extension of understanding of functions, such as complex optical fields, beyond the scope of measurements. The use of quantitative phase imaging, as described by complex zeros, presents an elegant mathematical interpretation that bridges the gap between the fields of holography and complex analysis.
