Abstract
During the long-term operation of SF6 gas equipment, various insulation defects inside the equipment will lead to the decomposition of SF6 gas. These decomposition products will react with trace H2O and O2 existing inside the equipment to generate SF6 characteristic decomposition components such as SOF2. Accurate detection of decomposition components such as SOF2 can effectively determine the operation state of SF6 equipment. As a new detection technology, tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) detection technology has the advantages of high sensitivity, low detection limit and easy integration, which has great advantages in the power industry. In this paper, the TDLAS detection platform of SOF2 is built, and the appropriate absorption band is selected according to the absorption characteristics of SOF2. It is found that the band can also be used for SO2 detection. A method for simultaneous detection of SOF2 and SO2 by a laser is proposed. It provides technical reference and support for the future development of SOF2 detection device based on tunable laser absorption spectroscopy.
