Abstract

Funding provides financial support and helps college and university students reduce psychological pressure, enhance mental health, and improve the quality of learning and life. This study uses 611 preparatory students in the 2022 class of Ningxia University National Preparatory Education College as a research sample through a questionnaire survey, and gender, nationality, student sources, family economic income, and designated training colleges and universities as independent variables. Funding reduces family and personal burdens, increases social support and recognition, relieves low self-esteem, depression, or anxiety due to financial difficulties, helps students enjoy normal life and activities, and improves The interpersonal skills of poor students were used as the dependent variable for quantitative analysis, aiming to analyze the impact of funding policies on the mental health of Ningxia College preparatory students. The survey results showed that funding policies played a positive role in promoting students' mental health.
