Abstract

The priority national goal of Russia is to increase the level of life of the population, which manifests itself in the growth of consumer satisfaction with the availability and quality of state and municipal services. The article examines the essence of basic municipal services, the relationship between their volume and quality and the effectiveness of budget expenditures, modern trends in the consistent harmonious development of the system for monitoring the quality of state (municipal) services, their digital transformation, as well as the gradual introduction of competitive methods of their provision while simultaneously preserving the current method through the approval of the municipal task. Based on the systematization of regulatory legal acts and practical activities, proposals have been developed to improve the mechanism of continuous improvement of the quality of municipal services.
