Abstract
Since 2014, the deepening of the world economic crisis and sharp fluctuations in oil prices have led to the economic decline of other countries with oil resources, such as Azerbaijan, and the economic decline and weakening of their financial resources. The export of oil and oil products in Azerbaijan has a high share in the total export, and about 85% of the budget revenues are formed from the export of raw materials. This disparity existing in the export structure of the country's economy makes it necessary to investigate non-oil industry areas with export potential in Azerbaijan, to investigate and find solutions to existing problems in this area. In recent years, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of the non-oil sector, especially the non-oil industry, and attaches great importance to the improvement of exports in these areas. In the dissertation work, the theoretical and conceptual approaches of nonoil industry sectors with export potential in the country's economy, the current situation were investigated, proposals were presented and recommendations were made for the development of these sectors.
