Abstract
We study the mesonic spectrum of finite-temperature QCD with dynamical Wilson quarks. We use anisotropic lattices and measure meson propagators both in the “temperature” (euclidean time) and in the space direction. We extract from the former “pole massesrd, which have been inaccessible to conventional analyses and which turn out to be different from the “screening masses” obtained from the spatial propagators. This behaviour parallels that observed in quenched QCD calculations and indicates strong plasma effects in the region just below T c where this calculation has been done.
