Abstract
Background: Minimally-invasive hepatectomy in living donor transplantation remains an infrequent practice in American institutions, limited to few centers with expertise. The practice of living donation is further restricted by anatomical variants in certain donors where a standard right or left hepatectomy does not provide adequate donor remnant volume or sufficient graft weight for the recipient. Whenever feasible, the use of right posterior sector grafts can provide a suitable alternative. This video aims to showcase our approach to a purely laparoscopic right posterior sectionectomy for living donation.
