Abstract
PUMPING OF DEWATERED SLUDGEA dewatered sludge pumping system was designed for the Town of Speedway, Indiana Wastewater Treatment Plant. The system consists of a progressive cavity pump that is utilized to transfer belt filter press sludge cake, of approximately 20-percent solids content, to one of four, valved discharge points in an adjacent sludge storage building.
