Abstract
The dependence of the n.m.r. free induction decay amplitude on the strength of the r.f. field and on pulse length has been studied in nickel metal powder. The results can be explained by the model of Stearns and Overhauser which hypothesizes boundary pinning of domains. We estimate a maximum enchancement factor in nickel of [Formula: see text].
