Abstract

A pulse-generator circuit is described which produces output signals by means of two thyratron tubes, one of which formes the front of the signal and the other its fall. The signal length can be controlled by varying the time shift between the trigger pulses of the thyratrons. Reversing of the order of time of the trigger pulses causes reversal of sign of the output signal. In case there is no delay between the trigger pulses no output signal is produced. i. e. the circuit can be used also as an anticoincidence circuit. Our arrangement can thus be used in such cases where it is important to determine the order of time of some physical effects.
