Abstract

In this chapter, the author provides a list of journals that focus on the enhancement of learning in educational settings. The list contains a few journals that are obviously educational psychology journals such as the Educational Psychologist and the Journal of Educational Psychology. However, the list also includes several journals that would not be considered educational psychology journals, such as Child Development, the Journal of School Psychology, and the Journal of Counseling Psychology. The author then deals with some insights for authors trained in school psychology who are interested in publishing in these journals. He also provides an idea of what is going on in educational and educational psychology research. School psychology is a broad field that applies principles of several fields, including educational psychology, to promote child and adolescent behavioral health and learning. Educational psychology is simply concerned with the social, emotional, and cognitive processes involved in human learning.
