Abstract

Spread the electronic social sites, or what is known as the location of social networking, and won the acceptance of the people and increase browsing them, and used all the means available to achieve the best images of communication and interaction among its members, as it became available to all, it is easy to get to have an account in, and allowed various formats to activate the communication between its members, leaving them for the sake of so many ways to communicate with each of them individually and collectively ways again, it is natural to increase the violations taking place across these sites, depending on the increase and its users to these sites occupied in the social life of individuals.There are various images violations in electronic social sites, it is possible to imagine committing many crimes within these sites and perhaps the most prominent of these crimes are the most prevalent crimes slander and insult (slander and libel), This study deals with images of slander and insult (slander and libel), and the extent to which corner of publicity which stipulated by the Iraqi and Jordanian legislator in penalties on which depends the legal qualification of such acts Act, by highlighting images and means of publicity contained in the Penal Code and legislation Other, As well as the nature of the websites and to address the Jordanian legislator for some types, and to discuss the new conditions imposed by the nature of the work of the electronic social networking sites compared to what has been treated in accordance with the Iraqi and Jordanian applicable laws, and access to the availability of publicity whether or not what is posted across social networking sites.The study came out findings and recommendations, the highlight of the pre-legislative side to organize the work of these sites, taking into account scientific and technical development are you using social networking sites.Key words / The electronic social sites, social networking sites, publicity, Facebook, Twitter, slander and crimes, crimes of libel and slander.
