Abstract

Objective: This study is aim to investigate psychological status on severe spirit obstacle’s families. Objects: There are 89 families of hospitalized severe spirit obstacle which were studied. Methods: First, by utilizing randomized control study, 89 families of hospitalized severe spirit obstacle were selected. Questionnaires were used to collect varied information, including self-edited questionnaire and Symptom self-assessment scale (SCL-90). Conclusion: The results showed that there was not significant correlation between age, culture level and relationship of the severe spirit obstacle’ families. But their psychological status was significantly related with the sex and the frequency of readmissions. There was no significant difference between the severe spirit obstacle’s families and the national norm on force factor, interpersonal relationship factor, hostile factor, terrorist factor, paranoid factor and psychotic factor of SCL–90. But on positive factor score, somatization factor score, depression factor score, anxiety factor score and total score, the severe spirit obstacle’s families were significantly higher than that of the national norm.
