Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify psychological resilience and positive coping among educational counselors, the significance of the differences in psychological resilience and positive coping among educational counselors according to the gender variable (male/female), and the relationship between psychological resilience and positive coping among educational counselors. To achieve the research objectives, two tools were built, the first to measure psychological resilience, and the second to measure positive confrontation. Both tools were applied to the research sample of (200) Mentor and mentor. After statistical treatments based on the statistical package (SPSS) to analyze the research data, the results indicated the following: *- Educational counselors have a good level of psychological resilience and enjoy positive confrontation. *- There are no statistically significant differences according to the variable (gender) in psychological resilience and positive confrontation. *- There is a positive correlation between psychological resilience and positive confrontation. In the context of these results, the researcher came up with a number of recommendations and proposals.
