Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of psychological nursing care for rectal cancer patients after Miles operation colostomy.Method 74 patients with rectal cancer colostomy from May 2010 to May 2012 admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into a control group and the observation group,37 cases for each group,the control group was given conventional treatment care,the observation group was given various forms of psychological care intervention (including treatment of environmental care,health education,care and detail care)on the basis of control group.The efficacy of the two groups and the patients' satisfaction were evaluated.Results The scores of SAS and SDS scores in the psychological nursing care after the intervention of the observation group were significantly better than those of the control group (P<0.05),the observation group after the intervention of psychological care scale scores of the SF-36 quality of life was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The accurate analysis of the Miles operation for rectal cancer patients with colostomy psychological problems and psychological intervention can be effective to improve the patients' mental state and their quality of life.
