Abstract

Introduction. The full-scale war in Ukraine has led to significant changes in the economic behaviour of citizens in many countries of the world, with Ukraine being affected the most. Accordingly, it is relevant to study the psychological characteristics of the economic behaviour and emotional state of Ukrainians during the war, as well as the economic behaviour of Ukrainians in relation to gender. Aim. To determine the psychological characteristics of the economic behaviour of Ukrainians during the war in relation to their incomes and gender, as well as to analyze the economic behaviour and emotional states of Ukrainians associated with it. Methods. Psychodiagnostic (the author's questionnaire «Psychological features of the economic behaviour of citizens of Ukraine during the war»), comparative, quantitative and qualitative analyses. Results. This article shows how the full-scale war in Ukraine affected its citizens’ income in relation to the country of their residence during the war. The author has analyzed the causes for the changes in the income of Ukrainians during the war, their related emotional states and economic behaviours, as well as the gender-related features of their economic behaviour. Conclusions. The information given in the article can help identify the causes of certain emotional states in a person, depending on their income and general financial situation, as well as analyze economic behaviour of individuals during the war.
