Abstract

The article considers the comparative analysis results of psychic status, personality changes and morbidity of 40 emp-loyees of the Ministry of the Interior of the Russian Federation one year after participation in the anti-terrorist operation in the Chechen Republic and 112 employees of EMERCOM of Russia after participation in elimination of emergency consequences. It was found the existence non-specific and specific psychological and somatic consequences arising under the impact of anthropogenic (battle action) and natural (natural disaster) emergencies within the professional group. The study showed the non-specific emergencies consequences: increasing of morbidity, deterioration of psychic state, symptoms enhancement of neurotic control, pessimism and anxiety. The specific anthropogenic emergency consequences are the changes of comba-tants’ identity towards the increasing of impulsiveness, rigidity, individualistic judgment and social withdrawal. The specific natural emergency consequences of employees of EMERCOM of Russia are increasing in emotional instability, optimism reduction and masculinity increase.
