Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine effective measures aimed at forming a motivated attitude of pupils to classes in the sports section at the initial stage of training. During the study of literary sources, the main psychological and pedagogical foundations of the formation of a motivated attitude of younger schoolchildren to classes in the sports section were identified and a practical work option was proposed. The significance of the work carried out is to determine the specifics of the formation of motivation at the stage of the beginning of a sports career. In the course of the work, such research methods as the analysis of literary sources, the method of pedagogical observation, testing, questioning, and the method of verbal questioning were used. The work carried out proved that the work of the coach, based on the study of the peculiarities of the motivational sphere of younger schoolchildren, contributes to an increase in interest in classes, which means better results.
