Abstract
Lipomas are benign mesenchymal tumors, which can be found anywhere in the body. In less than 1% of cases, they can be observed in distal extremities. The authors describe a rare case of a giant lipoma in the proximal third of the forearm associated with median nerve compression. WALANT surgical resection allows for a safe and complete excision of the tumor. The authors present a short review of the pertinent literature.
