Abstract

In this paper novel technical decisions in the field of creating saw benches are developed that multiply the advantages and eliminate the disadvantages of the existing equipment. An analytical solution to the problem of dynamic stability of bands of a multirip saw module performing plane rotational–translational motion as a part of a saw unit is proposed for the first time. A structural force scheme of the multirip saw module is presented that allows conducting high-quality cutting by tensioned saw bands in the mode of negative feedback. The proposed solution technique invites varying the parameters of the multirip saw module to optimize the size and mass characteristics and to reduce the financial and labor expenses during creation of similar saw equipment and its practical use.
