Abstract
Differential cross sections of proton scattering on 9B and 9Be nuclei are calculated using the Glauber theory at energies of 135, 180, 220, and 1000 MeV. The wave function (WF) in a three-particle 2α + N model with paired αα and αN interactions with states forbidden by the Pauli principle is used in deriving the matrix elements. The geometric structure of 9B WFs calculated using different potentials of the αα interaction is investigated. The contribution to the collision cross sections of different orders in the Glauber operator Ω is calculated. It is shown that single and double collisions must be taken into account, while triple collisions make almost no contribution to a cross section.
