Abstract

Oligoarthritis call the presence of synovitis (inflammation of the synovial membrane) in 2 or 3 joints and chronic if its duration exceeds 6 weeks. Note that some of monoarticular processes (single-joint synovitis) may evolve over time and oligoarticular form part of oligoarthritis with time processes will polyarticular (arthritis in four or more joints). In the differential diagnosis of articular symptoms oligoarthritis has low specificity and is crucial to perform an accurate medical history and physical examination as in many cases the presence of certain symptoms and / or signs are extraarticular we provide valuable diagnostic elements and is for this reason that we systematically evaluate.
