Abstract

The neck pain is pain in the cervical region that may extend from the neck to the head or upper limb motion limiting. After back pain, neck pain, is one of the most frequent causes of consultation in primary care. It is estimated that 10% of the population will cervical pain, and 25% of cases of chronic (>3 months) and / or recurrent disease. It is also home to numerous sick leave, estimated that up between 11–14% of workers are limited in their activities because of neck pain. The 1% develop neurologic deficits. The majority of neck pain are caused by mechanical pathology (90%) with frequent neck pain secondary to traumatic accident (”Whiplash“), however we must not forget the inflammatory cause, to which we will devote the siquiente protocol.
