Abstract

Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) play an important role in phase separation and are known to form membraneless organelles such as stress granules. Membraneless organelles are known to be involved in cell function and disease. Since the protein-protein interaction and protein conformation are known to be the main factor affecting the dynamics of proteins, it is important to clarify the dynamics and interactions of protein at the nanoscale. In this research, using coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulation, we investigate the conformational dependence of protein behavior in viscoelastic droplets. Moreover, we also used mixed protein-RNA systems to investigate protein-RNA interactions and the effects of the presence of RNA on protein dynamics.
