Abstract

Introduction. Information Society as a new type of human existence is characterized by domination of the market of services, within which information becomes the main value against the background of new production and communication technologies. It fundamentally changes the spiritual and material life of the 21st century. Humanity will again have to absorb a qualitatively new world through its own experience and invent itself in it, using the best perspectives of the Information Society. The aim and tasks of the paper are to show the peculiarities of educational space formation in the Information Society and to predict the impact of educational transformations on other areas of man’s existence. Research methods. A comparative and synergistic approach will help to fruitfully compare the data obtained by researchers from different fields of knowledge and realize the complexity of the self-organization processes of modern society and its culture. Discussion. The concern of the researchers is the society’s direction on the indicators of economic efficiency, competition and rivalry, which leads to the devaluation of human life, the loss of sense of man’s existence. But in the Information Society theory, many promising and positive points for human being and society as a whole are contained. Representatives of humanitarian knowledge take into account the study of the peculiarities of man’s existence, formation and development in various aspects of his life. Due to neurolinguistics, there is an opportunity for a deeper study of the features of the human brain, the formation of neural connections, which is the result of acquiring certain skills in the person’s professional and everyday life. In practice, this is confirmed in the teachers’ activities from primary to higher education. Basic education of a person forms the style of his thinking, sets the search vector of the meaning of life. Fulltime education can not be without the philosophical cycle courses, since the main task of philosophy is to teach a person to think, analyze information flows. Information Society, leaving for a person the external media of information, weakening his memory, does not contribute into the preservation and embodiment of the mankind’s spiritual values. Conclusion. At the moment, humanity is not fully aware of the role of technical reality in bio-social processes, which leads to a distortion of human identity in the future. Describing the information space, scientists often do not take into account the hidden spiritual basis of all the things and, therefore, guided by the scientific developments of the natural sciences and, to a lesser extent, the achievements of the humanities, form their own, often exaggerated, idea of the future prospects of humanity in general. The decision on the issue of the competition of a person with artificial intelligence depends on his choice, on what quality will be his educational field and what place there will be occupied by the subjects of the humanitarian cycle. That is because the transmission of the highest value of human life depends precisely on humanities. Nowadays, the prospects of human existence and new dimensions of its sense depend on the people's choice of people in the age of change.
