Abstract
Annotation: One of the important problems of modern pharmacy is the search for new types of medicinal plant raw materials. During the analysis of scientific literature and patent documentation and chemical analysis of raw materials of borscht, the presence of a significant amount of biologically active substances was revealed, which allows us to consider this type of raw materials as promising sources of obtaining new medicines. The raw materials were dried and morphological and microdiagnostic signs were analyzed on whole samples, in accordance with the requirements of the OFS.1.5.1.0003.15 Leaves and OFS.1.5.3.0003.15 Technique of microscopic and microchemical research of medicinal plant raw materials and medicinal plant preparations.
