Abstract

The article discusses the prospects of international cooperation in the field of energy, taking into account modern geopolitical trends. Under the conditions of sanctions pressure, Russian companies cannot conduct their activities in the European energy market. In these circumstances, one of the priority strategic tasks for Russia is the development of new export directions for the purpose of energy supplies. As part of the implementation of this task in 2022, Russia was able to significantly increase the volume of Arctic oil supplies to China and India, as well as conclude several long-term contracts for the supply of oil and gas. The development of these areas will not only offset the negative effect of sanctions from Western countries, but also become a driver for the implementation of major infrastructure projects.
